My bf and I just received a wedding invitation from someone we barely know. The invitation gives no indication if there is a reception following. So we only know of the ceremony. This is the second mariage for both. We are not planning on attending since we barely know the bride, and dont know the groom at all. The last time either of us spoke with the bride was well over a year ago. We just never see her, and have no mutual friends. I think in the past 4 years I have seen her maybe 3 times and just briefly. My bf knows of her from a church group from many years back. We are wondering what to do as there was a sticker on the back of the invitation that indicates where they are registered. Are we to send a gift because we received an invitation?
