I have a brand new with tags ivory vintage wedding dress, that has never been worn and I need to sell it so I can buy another dress before April. I have tried Ebay, Craigslist, Oncewed, and RecycledBride but all haven’t been working out too well. Does anyone know where I can sell a dress fast, I am even selling it for half of what I originally bought it for.

I have looked everywhere for this dress I fell in love with at Davids Bridal it is style number 9T9670 on the WWW.davidsbridal.com website. The description is Strapless sweetheart taffeta pick-up ballgown, with beaded metallic lace detail. Chapel train. Available in White or Ivory. I need this dress in a size 26 white. I have looked high and low for this dress and cant find it in my size for cheaper than 0.00 (davids bridal). I love the dress but not the price tag…..

if you were trying to buy a wedding dress either of, say, craigslist, or ebay…would you rather see the dress on a body (because the dress looks different from hanging) or hanging on a hanger?

would you feel weird if someone else was wearing the dress in the picture, just to model for the sale?

other information: the dress is brand new and was not used. it has only been tried on and it still has tags on it.
davids bridal no longer sells this dress and i can’t find pictures of the dress anywhere.

I bought a used wedding dress and I need it to be taken in. The tag says 16 and I usually wear a 14 in wedding dresses so I didn’t think it would be that big. It’s a corset back. Is that easier to take in than a zipper. About how much would that cost? Do most seamstresses clean the dress when they alter it?

I have been trying to sell a never worn wedding dress for a little over a year. The tags are still on, all the under garments come with.
Any suggestions? Where to sell it?

I have a wedding dress that I have for sale. It’s a Maggie Sottero Teresa in Diamond white. It’s a style that was discontinued in 2006, I believe.

The original retail on the tag is 80, with a mark down of 0. Tags are still attached and I have the Certificate of Authenticity.

I did have it altered and a bustle was put in. The length would most likely work for someone who is about 5′5". I am 5′2" and it was still too long for me because of the detailing on the bottom.

I never wore the dress because it ended up being too big. It is a size 14 and I ended up at a sizw 8 by the ime the wedding came around.

My thinking is that the alterations and bustle will save someone around 0 in alterations, since most women I know are not as short as me. And the length will also depend on how high the shoes and how full the crinoline.

I would like to ask 0 for it. Befor I spend money listing this on ebay or elsewhere, do you think that would be a fair asking price????
I am not trying to sell it HERE, just wondering if that would be a fair asking price based on the details.
I have looked at these on ebay constantly since February. Maggies have definitely sold for 0-500 on there. I have placed many on my watch list. I even watched this same style sell for 0. It was Oyster in color and not altered.

As far as next to nothing, ones that are worn or damaged sell for less than 0 and most David’s Bridal styles go for around 0

I guess I have done some homework on this already, LOL.

I am just afraid of over pricing since I am not sure if the bustle adds value or takes away value. I would think it adds value because I know it cost me around 0 to get alterations and a bustle in my dress(es)
