Question by Kate J: Where can I buy Handmade paper in San Diego?
I am looking to make my own wedding invitations, and would like to use handmade paper. I don’t want to spend much money, and would just like basic cream, so would ideally like to buy large sheets in bulk. Any ideas anyone? I live close to the downtown and mission valley area.

Hey everyone,

Answer by Blunt Go to a stationary shop or a craft store: Hobby Lobby, Jo Anne’s, Michaels etc.

Added: You do need to have a high-end quality ink-jet printer for home made invitations to look good. Most printers (like the ones that come standard with your PC) will make the ink smear or give up after a few invites. You can also go to kinko’s for them to print them for a few cents each.

HI Guys this is a card I made using the ‘wrap it up’ and ‘martha stewart’ cricut cartridges. I was trying out a new camera as when my computer broke I purchased a new computer and it would not work with my old camera – which I love! I didnt like this camera but thought you would like to see the card I made anyway.In the meantime I have more videos in reserve so while I get it sorted you will still have videos to watch! I’ve noticed that most wedding invitations have a piece of tissue paper in them and was wondering what it’s for.

Answer by janetrmi I believe it’s to protect the ink from bleeding on the invitation.
